Jonathan entered the insurance business in 1997, working exclusively in the brokerage
marketplace, specializing in disability insurance. Jonathan’s technical knowledge
and experience is showcased by his induction to the highly specialized disability
organization known as the Plus Group, as an Associate Partner, in 2001. Jonathan
left the Plus Group in 2006 to launch a “state of the art” disability resource center
for agents and brokers strictly within Capitas.
Jonathan’s top priority is to provide a full range of services to the producer and
their clients that cannot be matched in the industry. As a member, Jonathan sets
up, trains and works with independent agents, brokers, and financial planners in
national accounts.

Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) is a single premium life insurance contract specially
designed for banks to earn tax-free income. BOLI’s tax-free income comes from two
sources: growth of the cash value in the policy, and insurance proceeds paid to
the bank when the insured dies.
BOLI creates the opportunity for a financial institution to positively impact financial
statement earnings by generating stable revenues from non-loan sources enhancing
the “other non-interest income” section of their Income Statement while providing
